Dane County School Consortium

Preparing Students For College & Careers

A Leader in Youth Apprenticeship Programs

School Based Component

Participating schools provide  educational opportunities focused on academic, technical instruction related to career exploration, and possible work-based learning, starting in kindergarten and continuing until graduation from high school.  Along the way, we promote career awareness and exploration, and connect learning to the world of future employment.

Academics tie in to real-world experience as part of our School-Based Component.  In addition, Wisconsin’s career guidance model is being expanded to help guidance counselors understand their role in preparing students for their future careers.
